How to Send, Receive, and Recall Issues Between Teams in Ninety
Any licensed user can send a short-term or long-term Issue to another team in Ninety. The sending team retains visibility and can recall the Issue with a single click. When the receiving team works through the Issue and resolves it, they return it with notes. Sending, recalling, and returning are all recorded in the Issue's audit log.
Sending an issue to another team

- Click the Issue you want to send to open its details panel.
- Click the paper airplane (send) icon.
- In the Send Issue dialogue, select the team to send the Issue to.
- Optionally, add a comment to give the receiving team context before sending.
- Click Send.
The Issue moves to the receiving team's Issues list. A copy remains visible in your team's list, marked as sent.
What the sending team can and cannot do
- Sending team members can view the Issue while it is with the receiving team.
- Sending team members can add comments while the Issue is out.
- Sending team members cannot edit the Issue title or description while it is with the receiving team.
- The sending team can recall the Issue at any time (see below).
Recalling an issue you sent

If you need the Issue back before the receiving team has resolved it, any member of the sending team can recall it directly. This no longer requires a support ticket.
- Locate the sent Issue in your team's Issues list.
- Click Recall Issue.
The Issue returns to your team's list immediately. The receiving team will no longer see it.
Receiving and returning an issue
When another team sends your team an Issue, it appears above your team's Issues list.
- Open the Issue to review what the sending team is asking.
- Work through the Issue using your team's IDS® (Identify, Discuss, and Solve) process in your Level 10 Meeting® or as needed outside the meeting.
- When the Issue is resolved, click the paper airplane icon.
- Add a note explaining how the Issue was resolved (recommended).
- Click Send Back.
The Issue returns to the sending team's Issues list with your notes attached.

- Find the Issue in your team's Issues list — it should be marked as sent.
- Open the Issue's details panel and look for the Recall Issue button.
- If the button does not appear, contact support.
