You can view Knowledge Portal content without leaving your meeting, such as processes, training material, and other documentation. Instead of opening in a separate view, the Knowledge Portal loads alongside your meeting, so you stay in context while viewing helpful content.

How to Open the Knowledge Portal During a Meeting

To open the Knowledge Portal during a meeting:

  1. Click View Tool during a meeting. After starting or joining a meeting with the Meetings tool, click View Tool near the bottom of the agenda panel.
  2. Open your Knowledge Portal. Click Knowledge from the list of tools to open the tool within your meeting.
  3. Review content with your team. Navigate to the collection, topic, subtopic, or task you'd like to cover with your team. If you'd like your team to review more content before the next meeting, you can quickly assign topics as To-Dos by clicking the ellipsis by the topic's title and selecting Create To-Dos from the options shown.

Why Open the Knowledge Portal During Meetings

Opening the Knowledge Portal during meetings helps you quickly reference important documentation without switching context. This feature is great for referencing company processes or shared docs while discussing Issues or to clarify expectations for Rocks, To-Dos, or Scorecards. While creating new content in the Knowledge Portal is only available to companies on our Thrive subscription tier, we've added plenty of helpful content for every Ninety company to use.

For example, we've created a topic to help your leadership team roll Ninety out to more teams in your organization.

How to Add the Knowledge Portal as an Agenda Item

If your team regularly reviews Process documentation or other content in the Knowledge Portal, consider adding an agenda item to your meeting. Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Agendas section of the Meetings tool. Click Meetings from the left navigation, then click Agenda (Meetings > Agenda).
  2. Select an agenda to modify. Click one of your available meeting agendas or click Create at the bottom of the list to build a new one.
  3. Add the Knowledge Portal or specific content as a custom section to the agenda. Click Add Custom Section at the bottom of the agenda window. Add the URL to a specific collection, topic, subtopic, or task to the Web page URL to load textbox or use this address for the Knowledge Portal's homepage: https://app.ninety.io/knowledge/library.
  4. Save your agenda. If you modified an existing meeting agenda, click the Save Changes button, or click the Create Agenda button if you created a new one.

Only companies on the Accelerate or Thrive plan can create new agendas or modify any default agenda. However, companies on the Essentials plan can modify their team's Weekly Meeting agenda. Learn more about editing meeting agendas here.

  • Smoother Issue discussion by giving instant access to documentation
  • In-meeting training or context sharing
  • Improved accountability during weekly team meetings or one-on-one discussions
