How to Upgrade Your Free Account

New companies in Ninety always start with a free 30-day trial of the Thrive plan. When you're ready to select a subscription plan, all your data and account preferences will remain intact.

How to Upgrade from Trial to Paid

Transitioning from your 30-day trial to a paid account is simple. Follow these steps to add a payment method and continue your journey with Ninety:

  1. Navigate to the billing page. Click your name at the bottom of the left navigation, and then click Billing.

  2. Choose a subscription plan. Click Explore Plans to review our four subscription plans. Click Select Plan on the tier that's right for you.

  3. Add your payment method. Use our Stripe billing portal to add your payment method. Then, click Subscribe.

Once you add your payment method, your trial automatically becomes a paid account.

How to Start a Free Subscription with Ninety

If you don't select a plan type by the time your free trial expires, you'll automatically be assigned to our free subscription plan.

Next Steps After Subscribing

After becoming a paid subscriber, you can:

  • Continue exactly where you left off during your trial.

  • Manage licenses for your team.

  • Add or remove active user roles.

Frequently asked questions

How many users can I invite during the free trial?

As many as you want. There's no limit on the number of users you can invite during your 30-day trial.

How much will I pay after my trial ends?

Your bill is based on the number of users in paid roles. Each Owner, Admin, Manager, and Team Member uses one paid license, while Observers and Inactive users don't need one. See Billing and Payments Overview for how licenses are billed, and Ninety's pricing page for current prices.

Can I extend my free trial?

Yes. Contact support to request an extension. If your Implementer set up your Ninety account, they can also request an extension for you through Partner Hub.

Can I move data from an earlier trial into my new account?

Yes. Ninety's support team can upload and transfer your data for you. See Transferring and Uploading Your Existing Data to Ninety, or contact support to get started.
