Your guide to understanding and using Ninety to run your business on EOS.

Written by Tommy Mains

Welcome to Ninety! Whether you're new to the platform or transitioning from another tool, this guide will help you understand what Ninety is, how it works, and how to get started successfully.

What is Ninety?

Ninety is a business management platform designed specifically for companies running on the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS®). It provides digital tools for the six key components of EOS: Vision, People, Data, Issues, Process, and Traction.

Who uses Ninety

Ninety supports over 260,000 users from more than 18,000 companies, including:

  • Leadership teams running Level 10 (L10) meetings.

  • Department teams tracking their own goals and metrics.

  • Companies of all sizes who are implementing EOS.

  • EOS Implementers and coaches working with multiple clients.

What Ninety helps you do

We have the most comprehensive software for EOS that helps you:

Important to Know: Ninety is not a video conferencing tool. Remote teams often use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet for video and share their screen with Ninety open during meetings.

Getting started: Your first login

There are two ways to start using Ninety:

Option 1: You're invited to join an existing company:

  1. You'll receive an email invitation with a link.

  2. Click the link and create your password.

  3. Enter the verification code sent to your email.

  4. Complete your profile step.

  5. You're ready to join your team!

Option 2: You're creating a new company account:

  1. Visit ninety.io and sign up for a free trial.

  2. Set up your company profile and invite your team.

  3. Begin populating your V/TO, Scorecard, or other tool — or request a data upload.

Potential login issues and solutions

Verification code not arriving:

  • Check your spam/junk folder.

  • Wait 2-3 minutes (email delivery can be delayed).

  • Click "Resend code" if needed.

  • Contact support if no code arrives after 5 minutes.- Use the search function in your email client to look for keywords like "Ninety" or "account invitation."

Login screen keeps spinning:

  • Try incognito/private browsing mode.

  • Switch to Google Chrome (recommended browser).

  • Restart your browser completely.- Clear your browser cache to ensure compatibility and resolve potential issues.

Can't accept invitation:

  • Make sure you're clicking the link from the correct email address.

  • Try a different browser.

  • Contact your company admin to resend the invitation.- Verify that the email address you are using matches the one associated with your Ninety account.- Check all email folders, including spam or junk, as the invitation email might have been filtered there.

Troubleshooting Reactivated Company Access

If a reactivated company does not appear in your Company dropdown in Ninety, it may be linked to a different email address. Here’s how to resolve this:

  1. Verify Email Access: Confirm that you still have access to the email address associated with the company.

  2. Request an Email Update: If you no longer have access to the email, ask the company admin to update the email address linked to your account.

  3. Refresh Your Browser: After the email is updated, refresh your browser to see if the issue is resolved.

Setting up your profile

After logging in for the first time:

  1. Add a profile picture (helps team members recognize you).

  2. Verify your name is spelled correctly.

  3. Review your role and team assignments.

  4. Set your notification preferences.

  5. Explore the interface to familiarize yourself.
